"I want to start a Christian Pool League in my town.  What steps should I take?  Can CPPA help me?"

Some steps I am taking to start our Christian Pool League:

 

1. Letting people know by word of mouth

2. Send out a brochure to ALL the churches in our area, and     follow-up with them.

3. Will locate interested Christians and home pool tables.

4. Will start with a short devotional.

5. Will likely use BCA rules 8-ball (though I love 9-ball).

6. Will have teams of min. 3 to max. 6 players (and allows substitutes).

7. Will play 4 games, each player will play each player on the other team (total 16 games).

8. Will have 2 teams per table, so if we have 6 tables in town we'll shot for 12 teams.

9. Likely on a Friday night, but flexible.

10. Keep track of teams Wins/Loss and of individuals.

11. Have a 12-16 week season.

12. Have a end of season tournament of all players.

13. Give out trophies.

14. Praise God for changed lives and salvations.
